Jocelyn Michelle Brown is a music supervisor, producer, rights administrator and creative consultant specializing in music supervision, licensing and clearance for film, television, advertising, brands and cultural institutions.
She is the Founder and Chief Creative Officer of Reality Club LLC, a music supervision and creative consultancy providing end-to-end music services, including licensing negotiation, music clearance, historical research and creative music strategy. Reality Club works with filmmakers, brands, agencies and cultural institutions to integrate music and storytelling with intention, prioritizing historical accuracy, cultural relevance and critical context.
Prior to founding Reality Club, Ms. Brown served as a music supervisor and producer in the advertising industry, working for global agencies DDB Chicago and Leo Burnett. Her work bridges commercial and independent spaces, combining creative direction with deep expertise in music rights administration and licensing negotiations.
Ms. Brown has served as a juror for the Clio Awards (Music), Cannes Lions Entertainment Lions for Music, and the AICP Awards; she is also a current member of the Recording Academy. She has worked in creative and administrative roles with influential independent record labels and music publishers, including Chocolate Industries, Hefty Records, International Anthem, and Warp Publishing.
